We know… it looks a little funny. DF 2.1 users often spend the first few holes catching flak about the way their putter looks. And as the putts keep falling, they spend the rest of the round fielding questions from their playing partners about why it works so well.

SPECIFICATIONS
Finish: Type-3 Anodized (Black, Blue, and Red).
Length: 28-38 inches (Standard), 38-46 inches (ArmLock), 40-50 inches (Sweeper).
Loft: 3.5 degrees static loft (0.5 degrees effective loft).

SHAFTS
Shaft options for DF 2.1 include stock steel options, as well as offerings from Accra, BGT, and TPT Shafts. Arm-Lock and Sweeper options are also available.

HOW IT’S MADE
All DF 2.1 putters are manufactured and assembled in the USA. They’re 100% CNC milled from precision forged 6061 aircraft aluminum.

GRIPS
To optimize the performance of a DF 2.1, we recommend it be paired with Press Grips that have 3 degrees of forward tilt: either the Press II 3 Degree, Press 1.L.

ALIGNMENT MARKINGS & COLORS

CUSTOM FITTING
The most important aspect of every L.A.B. Golf putter is determining the optimal lie angle for a golfer, which is accomplished through either an in-person or remote (online) fitting.

Why We Hate Torque

Torque is an industry problem. Golfers have been battling torque in their putters throughout the history of the game — the majority of which never realize they’re doing it at all. Most golfers have learned to adjust for torque by adding uneven hand pressure to the putter, introducing yet another variable into their putting stroke.

Even today’s largest club manufacturers have acknowledged the issue of torque, marketing putters with a variety of balance types — different levels of toe hang, counter-balance, face-balance, etc. — yet none of these products actually solve the problem. Lie Angle Balance does.

The Claim
 

DF 2.1 can do amazing things other putters can’t because of Lie Angle Balance, or L.A.B. for short. Lie Angle Balance gives every golfer the ability to consistently repeat the putting stroke with far less effort than with other putters. And it does this by eliminating torque.

As a side note, all of our putters have Lie Angle Balance. MEZZ.1 and MEZZ.1 MAX look a lot like the most popular mallet putters. LINK.1 looks a lot like the most popular blades. And DF3 is pretty darn close to being as forgiving as DF 2.1.
